With gratitude from my family business to yours
I grew up in a small business family. My grandfather was a skilled artist and craftsman who built an ornamental housewares factory. It was more than a business; it was the family enterprise. In the evenings, we would hear about the excitement of new customer orders, the concern with the ability to fulfill them, and the frustration with partners not acting as they said they would.
The business supported the family and paid for everyone’s education. My grandfather was very proud of this fact, but it also created new challenges. His children pursued professional careers outside the business, creating a succession problem. I recall my grandfather's difficulties selling his company and the stress it caused the family.
The desire and enjoyment that I experience from helping build a business are rooted in these early family experiences. I admire founders and owners because of the impact their businesses have on them and their families. I hope we have a chance to get to know each other, and I welcome you to reach out to me via email below to start a conversation.
